Protocol

All team members should show the utmost repect for the location and those representing it.

No Children will be present, this goes for private resident cases. We dont need to add more drama to the little ones .

No one investigates on their own

When entering an area where a recording device is present, ensure you make yourself kown to the recorder, who is present and again, alert the recorder when you leave.  This is essential to ensure the person analysing the recordings knows when someone is in the vacinity.

When capturing information, ensure to write down the time each device is turned on, its position, who is present and anything local (for example a breezy window) that may already be causing sounds which could later, if heard on playback, be mistaken for something paranormal. The rule of thumb here is to make sure as much of this info as possible is excluded from analyisation later on.

Ensure each investigation is conducted in an orderly fashion.

Ground readings to be completed before set up.

Always be objective. Logic before paranormal.

No smoking, drinking or shouting on investigations.

No whispering as this again can confuse when listening back to recordings.

All members are to make an effort to mark any noises (with explainations if possible). For example, if you are recording an EVP session and someone in the team sneezes – mention this to the recording device so to make sure the sound is excluded in analysation. The applies if you hear any other explainable sounds.

Be aware of condensation/breath exhalation etc in cold weather and how it can effect photographs.

When taking photos be aware of accidentally capturing your hair/hand/fingers/camera strap in the photo

Be aware of reflection when taking photos.

Be aware of IR reflection when using nightvision.
